Creating a new invoice is easy as 1, 2, 3

1) Enter customer and invoice information

In this step, you will specify your customer's billing and shipping address. You can also use the Customer List to select a previously saved customer.

Select the invoice type, date, sales person and shipping details if necessary. Then, simply go to the next page.

2) Enter invoice items and prices

In this step, you will enter the invoice items, their quantity as well as their prices. To save time, use the Inventory to insert frequently sold items. You may also specify a deposit (a down payment) your customers left as well as the payments he made so far.

All the totals, balances and taxes are automatically calculated. To change your tax settings, simply go to "File - Options" and select the "Taxes" tab.

3) Preview and print the invoice

In this step, you will see how your invoice will look when printed. If you are satisfied with what you see, simply click the "Print" button. Otherwise, go back and make the necessary adjustments.

The convenience of the Customer List

Use the Customer List to save information about frequently used customers. Once you add a customer, you can quickly add his billing and shipping address to your invoices without retyping the same information again and again.

The time-saving Inventory

Use the Inventory to save frequently sold products and services. At any time, you can insert saved items quickly without having to retype them or remember their prices.

Customizing the way QuickInvoice works

You can easily customize the way QuickInvoice works by going to "File - Options". From there, you can adjust many settings such as:

 - Company address that will appear on top of the invoice
 - Tax names and percentages
(QuickInvoice supports different tax systems suited for US,
                                              Canada, Australia and many other countries)
 - Different messages to be printed on your invoices: company policies, business statements
 - Your company logo (available in QuickInvoice Pro only)
 - The format of your invoice numbers
 - Different field labels such as "Total", "Sales Person", "Quantity", etc.
 - Add/remove payment options such as "Cash", "Check", "Visa", etc.
 - Add/remove shipping options such as "Air Mail", "UPS Ground", "Express", etc.
 - Change the way your invoice will look when printed
 - Specify security settings allowing you to prevent unauthorized access to your data
 - And many other settings

Sending your invoices 

Once printed, simply send your invoice to your customer. For best results, we recommend using double-window envelopes that allow your customer address and the return address to be displayed in transparent plastic windows. Double-window envelopes can be purchased at your local business supply store.

   
Creating sales reports only takes a few seconds

QuickInvoice makes it easy to see how well your business is doing by generating sales reports. These reports help you see how much money you have earned and how much money your customers still own you. The "Sales Report by Customer" makes it easy to identify those who have not yet paid in full.
